Join Liberty Grove Cemetery in Preserving History
On December 13, 2025 (Marvin Ray Goldsmith's birthday) Ron Goldsmith, Robin Russell, Lezlie Russell and Gayle Russell, met at the Liberty Grove Cemetery to combine data from the radar scan with LGC records. A Webb descendant came by to say hello and share the location of an unmarked grave location. It was a lovely day! We'll meet again to finish up before the annual LGCA meeting in April, 2026. Thanks to a generous donation from Ron and inga Goldsmith, the LGCA was able to hire texas cemetery restoration to perform ground penetrating radar at

Thanks to Gayle Russell for his hard work in removing the tree impeding on Charlie Russell's family monument.
Gayle and his team took great care not to damage the monument.
Removing the massive tree was an all-day job.
